They tried to find help, but those who could have really helped didn&#039;t. They told them to accept Al\u00edz&#039;s condition because it wouldn&#039;t get better, and would only get worse.<\/p>\n<p class=\"lead\">But one day, her mother decided that she didn&#039;t care what others said, what the MRI results showed, or how other children with similar conditions fared. She decided to fight until someone finally took into account Al\u00edz, not the textbook descriptions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"lead\">Fortunately, they managed to find the right specialists, and after the shunt operation, everything changed. His condition stabilized, and he was finally able to start developing, thanks to which his attention, head and trunk control improved significantly; today he is learning to sit up and climb.
