Gerg\u0151 arrived as the second child after a calm, problem-free pregnancy. He was only able to spend 6 weeks at home after his birth. His mother noticed that he was weaker and much more sleepy than his brother. He was eating less and less and was swallowing what he had.<\/p>\n
Their family doctor referred them to gastroenterology. Little Gerg\u0151 received a gastric tube.<\/p>\n
Gerg\u0151's fight began after this. After receiving the gastric tube, a week later he became so ill that he was admitted to the intensive care unit. By the time his mother was able to go in, her little son was already on a ventilator. The tests began. Blood samples were also sent abroad, but unfortunately, there is still no exact diagnosis. At 4 months old, he was transferred to Bethesda, where they entered the "Ventilated at Home" program.<\/p>\n
At the hospital, his parents were taught everything they could about how to care for their child on a ventilator. Gerg\u0151 was 9 months old when they were able to take him home, and since then his mother has been taking care of him 24 hours a day. His father works alone to provide for his family. When he gets home, he also helps out with the care and upbringing of the children.<\/p>\n

Gerg\u0151 is now 7 years old, he can only lie down, he can move his two arms to some extent. He is visually impaired, his hearing is not the best either. It is not known what he understands from what is happening around him. He is a little love bomb, he smiles almost constantly and is a cheerful little boy. What his parents know about Gerg\u0151ke's illness is that he has an unknown muscle weakness, infantile cerebral palsy and epilepsy.<\/p>\n
