Lara, a tiny but infinitely strong warrior, who fights more from the moment she is born than many people do in a lifetime. A toxoplasma infection has left a mark on her central nervous system - her movement and vision are damaged, she has had a shunt implant - yet every day she teaches us about true strength with a smile and perseverance.
She goes 3-4 times a week to Debrecen and Nyíregyháza for developmental training: movement development, vision development, Vojta therapy, massage and neuro-hydrotherapy. She has also been able to attend intensive therapy twice at the Pető Institute in Budapest, which has given us new hope.
We believe that Lara still has a lot of room for improvement. Every grant is another chance for her - a step towards a more independent, fulfilling life.
