On May 28, 2021, Evelin (then 16 years old) was in a car accident. While sitting in the back seat of the car, a car traveling at high speed crashed into them from the side, and Evelin was thrown from the car. She fell to the concrete and suffered a very serious head injury. That night in the hospital, the doctors said that she would not survive. Then the parents had to prepare for the farewell. Miraculously, Evelin survived the night.

They were able to stabilize her condition after months of struggle. Evelin was in a coma for 4 months. On September 22, 2021, we made drawings for her on her birthday, we noticed that she was attentive, and then she woke up. Evelin was then sent to rehabilitation, where the doctors said that she would never stand up, would never speak, and would never be independent. At the end of April 2024, Evelin walks with a cane, communicates clearly, and performs most of her basic daily tasks independently. She still has a long way to go to recover and establish an independent life. But without losing hope and strength, Evelin fights every day to live a better, more active and happier life. She shows by example how much willpower can reside in a person.

Evelin rebuilt her life with great strength, and on 27.02.2025 she presented her book Miracles Exist, which is about faith, perseverance, and the power of starting over.

Miracles really do exist – and Evelin is living proof of that!
