Bence will turn 23 this year. Bence was born prematurely at six months, weighing an extremely low weight. He spent six months at the Debrecen clinic. During those months he was in crisis several times, fighting for his life. At birth he was diagnosed blind in both eyes. During the 5 years Bence was predicted to live, he suffered several strokes, had his colon removed and developed epilepsy. Bence is currently bottle fed, but as he has not developed chewing difficulties he can only be fed liquid feeds. His vocalisation is differentiated, he can distinguish between pleasant and unpleasant situations, and he gets to know family members. His movement has improved compared to himself. Until the age of three, he was a helpless baby lying down, but his development started to improve with the help of a physiotherapist, a physiotherapist and a speech therapist. He is now crawling and climbing. He moves on his bottom and on his stomach. He loves noises, especially the sound of cars and motorbikes. One of his favourite activities is listening to music on TV. He requires constant supervision, alternates day and night, and sometimes has minimal sleep requirements. Bence's supervision is paid for by parents several times a week so that they can work, as their son's development is very expensive. The parents try to give Bence all the development they can, but they need help to continue to provide development and therapy for their son. Vision training, movement development, therapies that will help improve his quality of life.
Let's help Bence and his family get the opportunity to further develop their little hero.
