Adél Gréta Takács was born on 4 October 2021 by emergency caesarean section. From the very first days she faced serious health challenges. A few weeks after her birth, it was discovered that she was born with Robertson's translocation Down syndrome. At three weeks old, she suffered a stroke while in hospital and was diagnosed with epilepsy a few months later.
Adél is now 3.5 years old and has significant developmental delays, particularly in her mobility. She has her own way of trying to crawl and can sit for short periods of time leaning on her back. Her mixed muscle tone makes it difficult for her to develop her mobility, but she makes a huge effort every day to improve. He is currently on medication for his epilepsy and attends daily developmental sessions, which are essential for him.
He attends weekly physiotherapy and conductive development sessions to help him become as independent as possible.
The aim is for Adél to learn to sit steadily, climb and keep her balance - all key steps towards standing and walking independently. Her family supports her in all her endeavours, strengthens her willpower and encourages her, believing that with perseverance and diligence she will be able to achieve her goals. Every day Adél shows that she is a real fighter who never gives up.
