Hunor Sz. is 8 years old, and Zádor is 2 years old. They both live with a rare genetic condition, Galloway–Mowat syndrome, and epilepsy is also part of their daily lives.
Hunor and Zádor also attend the Apróka Development Centre regularly, where they mainly take part in movement therapy sessions. One of the most important aims of these sessions is to help them learn to walk unaided.
They have a long and arduous journey ahead of them, but every small step forward is a huge achievement for them. They believe in the power of development, and that with the right support, a lot of hard work and love, Hunor and Zádor can get ever closer to their goals.
