The Eszter Váradi Prize was founded by István Hajós in memory of his grandmother, Eszter Váradi. Each year, the prize is awarded to individuals who, through their outstanding work, human attitude or community involvement, set an example for others and support the aims of the Foundation. Nominations are judged by the Board of Trustees and the winners are presented with their awards at a ceremony.
