"Life often presents us with challenges that are hard to imagine. We, Ákos' parents, struggle every day with the hope of ensuring the best possible future for our child. We would like to share our story now, hoping that we will find help to support our child's development."
Ákos was born prematurely on September 5, 2021, at 31 weeks. So even the first moments of his life were filled with struggle.
On the second day, he suffered a severe stroke, which began a long rehabilitation period. We spent three weeks with him in the neonatal unit of Margit Hospital before we were able to take him home and begin the intensive therapy treatment that has continued ever since.
We regularly attend Dévény gymnastics, Mens therapy and other developments, thanks to which Ákos is constantly improving. He started kindergarten at the age of four to develop his social skills and to experience the supportive power of the community. He currently attends the Mozgásjavító Egymi kindergarten, where he is surrounded by an environment that understands and supports his special needs. Here he not only found acceptance, but also began to soar, as he is supported by both professionals and peers.
We recently underwent a special treatment in Barcelona, which brought a huge breakthrough: Ákos started to communicate and there was a significant improvement in his movement. Since then, he has shown a great desire to walk, which we would like to promote with further therapies.
We would like to continue these developments and are also planning the Nazarov operation so that Ákos can have another chance at a more independent life. However, we need financial help for all of this. Every little bit of support brings us closer to being able to give him everything he needs for an easier, happier life!”
Adopt Ákos and his family within the framework of our foundation's program! Your support will allow the little one to continue the developments that have already brought huge progress in his life. Even a monthly contribution of 5,000 forints can be a huge plus to ensure that we can provide him with the necessary therapies and treatments.
Let's help Ákos take his first steps together!
With your support, you can make a difference in a family's life!
