Bence was born prematurely at six months, with an extremely low birth weight. He spent six months in the Debrecen clinic. During those months, he was in crisis situations several times, fighting for his life.
Doctors told his parents that the boy would only live until he was 5 years old at most.
He was born blind in both eyes. During his predicted 5 years, Bence suffered several strokes, had his colon removed, and developed epilepsy.
Bence turns 23 this year.
A true hero who fights despite many illnesses.
Bence is still drinking from a bottle, as he has not yet developed the ability to chew, so he can only be fed in liquid form. His vocalizations are differentiated, he can distinguish between pleasant and unpleasant situations, he gets to know his family members. He has developed a lot in his movements compared to himself. He was a helpless baby lying down until he was three years old, then due to the developments, his development started, he was treated by a typhlopedagogue, a physiotherapist and a speech therapist. He is currently crawling, climbing. He moves around on his bottom and on his stomach. He really likes noises, especially the sound of cars and motorbikes. One of his favorite things to do is listen to music on TV 😊
He requires constant supervision, he alternates between day and night, and sometimes his sleep needs are minimal. Bence's parents pay for supervision several times a week so that they can work, as the development of boys is very expensive.
The parents are trying to give Bence every possible development, but they need help to continue to provide the boys with the development and therapies they need. Vision training, movement development, therapies that will help improve his quality of life.
Let's help Bence and his family get the opportunity to further develop their little hero.
