Lacika is a 6-year-old, smiling, cheerful little boy who came into the world on one of the sunny August days. But Lacika's story is unique and bizarre, as he has been battling an intrauterine viral infection, cytomegalovirus, since birth. He was born at Uzsoki Hospital, and it was indicated from the very beginning that his muscle tone was tight and that he would need physical therapy in the future.

Over the past 6 years, Lacika and her family have faced many challenges. The little boy's life is full of gymnastics, therapy and struggles. Cytomegalovirus caused a serious movement disorder, and many therapies and developmental methods have become a daily routine in Lacika's life.

Lacika is a special little boy who is a symbol of cheerfulness and curiosity. Although he does not speak independently, his eyes shine and his smile says it all. The family has three children, and raising financial support for the necessary developments for Lacika is very difficult. The road to dreams and desires is long and difficult, but the family makes every effort to ensure that all the needs of their little boy are met.

The family is now asking for help so that Lacika can participate in robotic therapy and oxygen therapy. They would also like to get her a simpler communication tool that will help her express her needs and feelings more easily. The goal is to provide her with even more support so that her development and rehabilitation can continue.
Lacika fills every day with experiences. She loves colorful books, nursery rhymes and music. Her favorite fairy tale is Tarkabarka Borka, which is about a stubborn toad, and Lacika is similarly tenacious in her fight for her life. She loves looking at the stars and the ripples of the water, and is a real water baby who happily splashes in the water.

The family is grateful for all the support they receive for Lacika and her development. Their goal is for the boy to one day be able to say the word “mother” and take a few steps on his own. The road is long, but the power of love and unity overcomes everything.
