Gergő was born completely healthy after an uneventful pregnancy at 40 weeks.
It was only later that they noticed that there was a problem with Gergő. The health visitor indicated that the little boy had a delay in motor development. Despite this, the doctors maintained the incorrect healthy diagnosis until he was 17 months old. The parents were not left alone by the matter, so they requested a full examination for Gergő. After the examinations, it turned out that Gergő may have suffered from a lack of oxygen at birth, which caused ventricular dilatation and required the implantation of a shunt.

Developments and therapies began, the parents tried everything to help their child develop. Unfortunately, he got stuck at a certain level, stuck in the state of a 10-12 month old child.

Gergő's diagnosis, ICP, Tetraparesis spastica, Obstructive hydrocephalus, mental retardation.

His mother was only 23 years old when Gergőke was born. She had a very difficult time coping with it mentally, but in recent years this pain has been replaced by acceptance.

Gergő turned 25 this year. Today, his family's main goal is to keep his condition in check. They are currently trying to maintain this with weekly manual therapy and physiotherapy.
Gergő really loves chocolate, animals, and his favorite thing is traveling by car. He would go to the end of the world by car 😊
